On April 6, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City announced the results of the 24th "Good Literature and Good Writing" contest for the 2023-2024 school year. Accordingly, the first prize for grades 8 and 9 went to Nguyen An Ninh Secondary School (District 12), while the first prize for grades 6 and 7 went to Pham Dinh Ho Secondary School (District 6).
Specifically, for grades 8 and 9, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City awarded first prize to Mai Minh Tien, a student of class 9A3, Nguyen An Ninh Secondary School (District 12).
Second prize was awarded to 3 students: Nguyen My Anh - student of Ngo Chi Quoc Secondary School (Thu Duc City); Tran Le Khanh Linh - student of Tran Quoc Toan Secondary School (Thu Duc City) and Nguyen Le Minh Thu - student of Dong Da Secondary School (Binh Thanh District).
In addition, the organizing committee also awarded 8 third prizes and 10 consolation prizes.
For grades 6 and 7, the first prize was awarded to Tran Gia Linh, a student of class 7A4, Pham Dinh Ho Secondary School (District 6). The three second prizes were awarded to Tran Khanh An - Saigon Practical Secondary School; Nguyen Bao Nam - Ngoi Sao Secondary and High School (Binh Tan District) and Nguyen Ngoc Phuong Trang - Nguyen Thi Hung Secondary School (Nha Be District).
In addition, the organizing committee also awarded 8 third prizes and 10 consolation prizes to students in grades 6 and 7.
Previously, 150 outstanding students from secondary schools in Thu Duc City and 21 districts participated in the 24th City-level "Good Literature and Good Writing" Contest, school year 2023-2024 organized by the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City.
This year, the contest brings students a new experience with the theme "Artificial Intelligence with Music, Chess, Poetry, and Painting".
Many Literature teachers said that the way the questions were set and the competition was organized this year helped students maximize their thinking and creativity. Through real-life experiences, students were given the opportunity to express their thoughts and at the same time realize the awareness and responsibility of a young citizen in contributing to the development of the country.
