Ho Chi Minh City provides specialized training on high-speed railways and urban railways

On August 29, in Ho Chi Minh City, Construction Corporation No. 1 - JSC (CC1) coordinated with the University of Technology to organize the opening ceremony of the specialized training program "High-speed railway - Urban railway".

The program lasts 3 months, the training content focuses on advanced technologies in the railway field such as: diaphragm wall construction technology, construction of elevated stations, viaducts, shield mining technology (TBM), geotechnical monitoring, rail - electricity - signal systems, etc.

Participating in the teaching are a team of domestic and international experts, along with lecturers from the University of Technology and large corporations and enterprises. The program aims to improve the capacity of engineers and technical staff of CC1, while creating high-quality human resources to serve key infrastructure projects such as the North-South high-speed railway project, the Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City metro systems.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Phan Huu Duy Quoc, Chairman of the Board of Directors of CC1 affirmed: “Training and developing high-quality human resources for the high-speed railway and urban railway systems is the key task for CC1 to master technology and be ready to take advantage of future opportunities”.
