Vietnamese billiards player Tran Quyet Chien continued his impressive form to advance to the semi-finals of the 3-cushion carom billiards World Cup in Ankara (Türkiye) on the afternoon of June 15th.

Tran Quyet Chien's opponent in the semi-finals is Sameh Sidhom (Egypt). Previously, this player has lost to Quyet Chien on several occasions at previous World Cup tournaments.

This time, that result was repeated once again. Tran Quyet Chien started strongly with a long series of points and led 19-1. Sidhom seemed overwhelmed by the Vietnamese player's superior form.
