Giving gifts and supporting people affected by storms

DTO - In order to share and support people to reduce difficulties and damage caused by storms and tornadoes, on the morning of July 25, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations of Ba Sao commune coordinated to organize a delegation to give gifts to households whose houses were damaged by storms and tornadoes.

The delegation visited and presented 21 gifts (including 11 cash gifts worth 300,000 VND and milk; 10 gifts including: rice, noodles, mineral water, necessities and 200,000 VND in cash); presented over 20 gifts of vegetables and necessities to households in Ba Sao commune whose houses were damaged by storms. The gifts were sponsored by organizations and benefactors in and around the locality.


Representatives of the Women's Union and Ba Sao Commune Youth Union presented gifts to people in the commune whose houses were damaged by storms and tornadoes.

According to the quick report of the People's Committee of Ba Sao commune on the damage caused by the natural disaster that occurred on July 23, the whole commune had 162 houses damaged, of which 31 houses completely collapsed, 128 houses were damaged, 3 schools were affected; 9 people were injured. The Party Committee directed the People's Committee of the commune, specialized departments, the commune police force, and the commune military force to proactively inspect the damage situation and encourage the households.

In addition, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ba Sao Commune called on benefactors to join hands to support people to overcome difficulties and overcome the consequences caused by natural disasters. Through the appeal, from July 23 to 11:30 a.m. on July 25, 2025, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ba Sao Commune received many resources from benefactors inside and outside the commune to support, including cash, rice, noodles, and necessities with a total value of more than 60 million VND. Currently, the locality is urgently distributing the above gifts to the people.


Representatives of the People's Committee of My Ngai Ward and Dong Thap Lottery Company Limited presented gifts to people in the ward affected by storms.

According to a quick report from the People's Committee of My Ngai Ward on the damage caused by natural disasters in the ward, at 4:30 a.m. on July 23, 2025, rain and thunderstorms caused serious damage to Hamlet 12, Hamlet 14, Hamlet 15, Hamlet 16, My Ngai Ward. Specifically, 99 households suffered damage to their houses due to rain and thunderstorms (17 houses completely collapsed; 49 houses had their roofs completely blown off; 33 houses had their roofs partially blown off); 8 people were injured. Estimated damage is about 5 billion VND.

Immediately after the storm, the Ward People's Committee coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations of the ward to mobilize donors and businesses to support 617 million VND, including: 474.8 million VND in cash; necessities (noodles, rice...) worth 142.2 million VND.

Currently, the ward is coordinating with philanthropists and businesses to visit and give gifts to 99 households affected by natural disasters to help people overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.
