Towards the end of the year, key construction projects in Hung Ha are buzzing with a competitive spirit. Groups of workers are working tirelessly on the construction sites, racing against time to accelerate progress according to the planned schedule.
Construction is underway on the DH.65A road section passing through Cong Hoa commune (Hung Ha).
The DH.65A road project, the section passing through Cong Hoa commune, is 1.8km long and is one of eight key projects currently being implemented by Hung Ha district. In the final days of the year, Quang Trung Construction Co., Ltd. mobilized machinery, equipment, materials, and nearly 40 workers, divided into four construction teams working on multiple fronts, carrying out tasks such as excavation, widening, leveling, and asphalt paving. Mr. Do Xuan Kiem, the site manager, said: "To date, the road has completed 65% of the work. We always focus on closely monitoring the quality of the project. In particular, during the construction process, the district and local authorities have created favorable conditions regarding the construction site, allowing the unit to proceed according to schedule."
Mr. To Dang Thang, from Dong Thai village, Cong Hoa commune, said: "When the plan to expand and upgrade the DH.65A road was announced, my family voluntarily demolished 22 square meters of our workshop to return the land to the construction unit. We are very happy that the road has been widened from 5.5 meters to 7 meters because improved transportation infrastructure means a better life for the people."
The urgent road improvement project leading to the national historical site complex of the communal house, temple, and mausoleum of Thong Quoc Thai Su Tran Thu Do and Linh Tu Quoc Mau Tran Thi Dung in Lien Hiep commune, with a length of 3.3km and a total investment of 79.8 billion VND, has completed 70% of the work and is expected to be put into use before the 2024 New Year, 7 months ahead of schedule. It is anticipated to form a synchronized transportation network connecting spiritual tourism destinations, attracting a large number of tourists from inside and outside the province.
Mr. Nguyen Si Long, from Khuoc village, Lien Hiep commune, happily shared: "These days, wherever we go, we can clearly feel the changing face of our homeland; everyone is happy and excited because this Tet holiday we will be able to travel on new concrete roads stretching throughout the villages. The long-held dream of the people for wide, spacious, and clean roads has come true. The new road, which is about to be completed, will make an important contribution to communication, trade, socio-economic development, and connecting the local spiritual relics."
Mr. Khong Minh Dang, a technical officer at Thuy Son Construction Investment Co., Ltd., said: "To ensure the construction progress, we are focusing all our manpower and arranging equipment efficiently to work with the highest competitive spirit, determined to accelerate the pace, even if it means working overtime or night shifts. At the same time, we are preparing sufficient raw materials to meet the project's construction needs."
In 2023, Hung Ha district had 8 new projects started with a total investment of over 319 billion VND; 21 projects carried over from 2021-2022; and 19 projects in preparation for implementation with a total investment of nearly 1,341 billion VND... The progress of these projects is of great importance, determining the completion of technical infrastructure and promoting local socio-economic development.
Mr. Pham Van Du, an official from the District's Investment and Construction Project Management Board, stated: "We continue to assign technical staff to coordinate with the consulting and supervision unit to regularly monitor the construction site, promptly inspect and urge the contractor to carry out the work, identify advantages and difficulties, and advise the District People's Committee on timely solutions. At the same time, we are strengthening our direction to units and contractors to focus on mobilizing machinery and personnel to accelerate construction progress, ensuring the project's progress, quality, and labor safety."
In the not-too-distant future, the completed projects will extend the joy to the people, bring a new look to the countryside, and contribute to fulfilling the criteria for building advanced new rural areas and model new rural areas in the locality.
The urgent restoration project at the national historical site complex of communal house, temple, and mausoleum of Grand Tutor Tran Thu Do and National Mother Tran Thi Dung in Lien Hiep commune is preparing for its opening.
