A strong and prosperous Vietnam

The exhibition is not simply a display event, but an epic poem about the journey of nation-building, national defense, and reaching out to the world of a strong Vietnam, authentically portrayed through images, artifacts, and technology.

With the theme "Vietnam - A Journey to a New Era," the exhibition comprehensively covers horizontal and vertical aspects of history, highlighting core values, great achievements, and immortal legends of Vietnam's nation-building and defense history, guided through an experiential journey imbued with profound messages.

From the early days of nation-building amidst countless difficulties, wars, poverty, and division, to the period of reform in 1986 and deep integration into the global economy , Vietnam has always adhered to two strategic tasks: protecting and building and developing the country. The exhibition clearly illustrates these two axes: from "The Sword and Shield" - a symbol of national defense strength, to "Building Development, Entrepreneurship for Nation Building" - the aspiration for sustainable, green, digitized, and humane development.

Alongside the building, protection, and development of the country, the human factor is always highly valued. With the spirit of "leaving no one behind," social welfare policies, poverty reduction, public health, and inclusive and liberal education are also showcased through the exhibition spaces, affirming the central role of people in all development directions.

Mr. Hoang Dang Hung, General Director of Rong Viet Media and Services Joint Stock Company - the main design unit of the exhibition - affirmed: The exhibition not only talks about progressive steps, but also connects the past and present in a coherent way. Images and stories about President Ho Chi Minh, about leaders, revolutionary soldiers, scientists, artists, entrepreneurs, farmers... create a range of inspiring figures, each in their own way contributing to building the country.

This exhibition's display format is not simply a collection of panels and artifacts, but combines multiple layers of elements: light, sound, digital technology, high-tech projection, virtual reality, and multimedia interaction… An exhibition that brings together both the length of history and the depth of thought, guiding the nation's development.

The cultural spaces of various ethnic groups, images of the three regions of Vietnam, traditional and modern architecture, festival culture, and performing arts are all included in the exhibition with vivid and innovative storytelling. The presence of countries with special diplomatic relations also provides an opportunity for Vietnam to affirm its position and expand cultural diplomacy.

Walking hand in hand with the nation

Visiting the Tuyen Quang exhibition area, visitors feel as if they are on a journey back to the roots of the revolution, to the historical days when President Ho Chi Minh and other Party and State leaders lived, worked, and made pivotal decisions that led the Vietnamese nation to the great victory of the August Revolution and the protracted resistance war against French colonialism.
At the center of the exhibition hall is the symbol of the Lung Cu flagpole, with the red flag with a yellow star fluttering proudly, affirming the border and sovereignty of the country in the northernmost region of the Fatherland.

Surrounding the exhibition are historical images and documents from before the August Revolution and during the historic August days, showcasing the fervent fighting spirit of the people of Tuyen Quang's ethnic groups, the resistance against the French, and their contributions of manpower and resources in driving out the American imperialists. Artifacts associated with President Ho Chi Minh, from his time in Tuyen Quang, are displayed and shown. Following this are images and films about the struggle to defend the homeland and the reconstruction and development of Tuyen Quang to this day.

Modern industrial parks, factories, and clusters; extensive highways connecting various regions; forests meeting international standards; and images of terraced rice fields, high-tech agricultural models, and specialty products of Tuyen Quang province are all logically arranged and projected.

Beyond economic figures, the exhibition vividly portrays the remarkable socio-cultural development. The education and healthcare systems have been upgraded, providing people with access to high-quality services; the traditional cultural values of ethnic minorities are preserved and promoted, creating a unique identity for Tuyen Quang. Traditional festivals, landscapes, and cultural spaces, along with the melodies of Then and Pao Dung, and the haunting sounds of the Hmong flute, are also displayed and introduced in a lively manner.

According to Ma Thi Thao, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism: To create such a massive exhibition – a journey of 80 years with many historical milestones – under the close guidance of provincial leaders and the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, the Department has closely coordinated with relevant departments, agencies, and organizations to collect and select documents, images, and films.

All photographs, films, manuscripts, historical artifacts, and musical instruments of ethnic minorities were meticulously examined and evaluated. In particular, precious photographs of President Ho Chi Minh during his time in Tuyen Quang, revolutionary soldiers, the struggles for independence and national reunification, and images of the province's construction and development over the past 80 years were carefully selected. These are not simply images, but also stories and witnesses of history.

Mr. Nguyen Huu Hung, from Hang Bai ward, Hanoi, shared: "The Tuyen Quang exhibition area makes many viewers want to stay longer. Besides the landmarks associated with the August Revolution and the resistance war against the French, Tuyen Quang also boasts many majestic natural landscapes and traditional cultural festivals with a strong identity." Mr. Hung affirmed that after seeing the exhibition, he will definitely embark on a journey to explore Tuyen Quang.

According to Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ma Thi Thao, the exhibition showcasing 80 years of national achievements reveals the long journey of contributions, sacrifices, and the great aspirations and beliefs of generations of Vietnamese people. It also serves as a powerful call to action, urging the younger generation to continue the glorious tradition, foster creativity, unity, and work together to build an increasingly prosperous and happy country.
