From the early days of the country's founding with countless difficulties, wars, poverty, and division, to the renovation period in 1986, the period of deep integration into the global economy , Vietnam has always adhered to two strategic tasks: Protecting and building and developing the country. The exhibition clearly depicts two axes: From "Sword and Shield" - the symbol of national defense strength, to "Development creation, entrepreneurship and nation building" - the aspiration for sustainable, green, digital and humane development.
Along with the work of building, protecting and developing the country, the human factor is always considered important. With the spirit of “leaving no one behind”, social security policies, poverty reduction, public health, liberal and inclusive education are also shown through the exhibition spaces, affirming the central role of humans in all development directions.
Mr. Hoang Dang Hung, General Director of Rong Viet Media and Service Joint Stock Company - the main designer of the exhibition, affirmed: The exhibition not only talks about progressive steps, but also connects the past and the present in a coherent way. The images and stories about Uncle Ho, about leaders, revolutionary soldiers, scientists, artists, businessmen, farmers, etc. create a series of inspirational characters, each in their own way contributing to the construction of the country.
The display format of this exhibition is not simply panels and artifacts, but combines multiple layers of elements: light, sound, digital, high-tech projection, virtual reality, multimedia interaction... An exhibition that converges both the length of history and the depth of ideology, and the direction of national development.
Cultural spaces of ethnic groups, images of three regions, traditional and modern architecture, festival culture, and performing arts are also displayed with vivid and new storytelling. The presence of countries with special diplomatic relations is also an opportunity for Vietnam to affirm its position and expand cultural diplomacy.
Walk with the country
Coming to the exhibition area of Tuyen Quang, visitors can experience a journey back to the roots of the revolution, back to the historical days when President Ho Chi Minh and the leaders of the Party and State lived, worked and made turning-point decisions, leading the Vietnamese people to the great victory of the August Revolution and the long-term resistance war against French colonialism.
In the middle of the exhibition hall is the Lung Cu flagpole symbol, with the red flag with yellow star fluttering proudly, affirming the country's border and sovereignty in the northernmost region of the Fatherland.

Traditional festivals, landscapes and cultural spaces with Then and Pao Dung melodies, the melodious sounds of the Mong people's flute, etc. are also displayed and introduced vividly.
Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ma Thi Thao said: To have a massive exhibition - a journey of 80 years with many historical milestones, under the close direction of the provincial leaders, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, the Department has closely coordinated with relevant departments, branches and agencies to collect and select documents, images and films.
All photos, films, manuscripts, historical artifacts or musical instruments of ethnic minorities are carefully examined and evaluated. Particularly valuable photos of Uncle Ho when he was in Tuyen Quang, revolutionary soldiers, the struggles for independence and national unification, and images of the province's construction and development over the past 80 years are carefully selected. Because these are not just images but also stories, witnesses of history.
Mr. Nguyen Huu Hung, Hang Bai Ward, Hanoi City shared: The exhibition area of Tuyen Quang makes many visitors want to stay longer. Because in addition to the places associated with the August Revolution and the resistance war against France, Tuyen Quang also has many majestic natural landscapes and traditional cultural festivals with strong identities. According to Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ma Thi Thao, the exhibition of 80 years of achievements of the country shows the long journey of dedication, sacrifice, and great belief and aspiration of generations of Vietnamese people. It is also a strong call, urging the younger generation to continue the heroic tradition, promote the spirit of creativity, solidarity, and join hands to build an increasingly prosperous and happy country.
