Vietnam Social Science Exhibition: Knowledge creates the future

The exhibition space "Outstanding achievements of the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences" is arranged according to the historical flow from the origin, nation building, integration and spreading the image of Vietnam, Vietnamese culture and the values ​​of Vietnamese people to the world.

The exhibition space of the Academy is not only a static display but also creates an interactive space, spreading knowledge associated with humanistic values.

Within the framework of the National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day September 2, from August 28 to September 5, at the National Exhibition and Fair Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi), the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences (Academy) organized an Exhibition displaying outstanding achievements with the theme "Vietnamese Social Sciences: Knowledge creates the future".

Speaking at the program, Dr. Phan Chi Hieu, President of the Academy emphasized: During 72 years of establishment and development, the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences has grown, matured and achieved many great achievements, making many practical contributions to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

The research results of the Academy have enriched the treasure of Vietnamese knowledge; created the foundation, shaped and developed research fields in social sciences and humanities; provided many valuable scientific arguments for the formulation of guidelines and policies of the Party and State in the cause of national construction and defense, and implementation of the comprehensive national renewal policy.

The President of the Academy stated that the exhibition space "Outstanding achievements of the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences" brings visitors to documents, artifacts, and vivid, unique images of the outstanding social science achievements of the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences over the past 70 years.

Through that, those who love social sciences and people from all walks of life will better understand the role and importance of social sciences and humanities; and the contributions of the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences to the country.

The exhibition is also a place for scientists, managers, agencies and organizations at home and abroad to exchange, discuss academics, share knowledge, promote cooperation in the field of social sciences, learn about culture, interact, experience, contribute to inspiring and fostering love for the Fatherland and love for science for the young generation.

The exhibition space is divided into four sections.

Zone 1: “Decoding history - Origin of Vietnamese culture”, displays research results contributing to determining the historical origin of the Vietnamese people; shaping the national cultural identity, affirming the core values ​​that make up the soul of Vietnamese culture.

Sub-area 2: “Construction - Development” has portrayed the image of the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences as a pioneer in providing solid scientific arguments for the Party and State in the fields of politics , economics and socio-culture, contributing significantly to the formation of viewpoints, guidelines and strategic breakthrough policy planning, thereby promoting the rapid and sustainable development of the country.

The exhibition contributes to inspiring and fostering love of country and science for the young generation.

Zone 3: “International integration - Enhancing national status”, demonstrates efforts to bring research achievements, Vietnamese culture and Vietnamese human values ​​to the world, while absorbing the quintessence of human culture to enrich national identity.

Zone 4: “Experience area”, brings visitors to practical and vivid experiences, such as: performing and giving calligraphy; performing, practicing printing and giving Dong Ho paintings; performing fan making, painting and giving silk fans…
