On July 31, the 3rd Vietnam International Logistics Exhibition (Vilog 2025) opened at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (address: 799 Nguyen Van Linh, Tan My Ward, Ho Chi Minh City).
With the theme “Digital Transformation – Green Development of Logistics Industry”, Vilog 2025 focuses on digital solutions, smart technology and connectivity cooperation to promote the logistics industry in a sustainable and efficient direction. The event brings together nearly 350 businesses from 20 countries and territories, displaying products, equipment, introducing services and advanced technologies at about 480 booths.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Tran Thanh Hai - Deputy Director of the Import-Export Department ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ) emphasized: "The exhibition is an important milestone, creating space for logistics enterprises to propose sustainable development orientations, promote value linkages and spread green logistics thinking".
Vietnam’s logistics industry is being impacted by integration requirements, especially commitments in new-generation free trade agreements on carbon emission reduction. The application of technology, digitalization of logistics activities and increased cooperation in the supply chain are considered key factors to improve competitiveness and move towards green development.
At the exhibition, Mr. Takashi Kagamoto - General Director of Mitsubishi Estate Vietnam highly appreciated the potential for logistics development in Ho Chi Minh City but also pointed out the major challenges from supply chain disruptions due to geopolitical instability and climate change. He expected the city to accelerate investment in transport infrastructure to facilitate logistics activities and develop projects such as Logicross (Mitsubishi's logistics infrastructure brand).
Advanced solutions are presented at the exhibition.
Ms. Ngo Thi Thanh Vy - Deputy General Director of Long An International Port commented that in the next 5-10 years, Vietnam's logistics industry will make a strong breakthrough thanks to the trend of shifting global supply chains. As a key seaport in the South, Long An International Port aims to become a strategic cargo transit center, fully connecting from seaports, industrial parks, warehouses to domestic and international transportation.
Vilog 2025 also organizes the Vilog Talk area for the first time, an open forum for businesses to present technology, share practical perspectives and industry trends. In addition, the 1:1 business connection program takes place throughout to help businesses find partners, expand markets, and improve cooperation efficiency.
Delegates visit the booth at the Vilog 2025 exhibition.
The exhibition also organizes a series of seminars, business networking activities and field surveys at Logistics Hub in Long Hau Industrial Park, a green industrial park model emerging as a new logistics center in the South.
Vilog 2025 takes place from July 31 to August 2, 2025, organized by the Vietnam Logistics Services Association (VLA) in collaboration with VINEXAD Company (UFI Member), under the direction of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Import-Export Department.
