Beneath the facade of a successful businessman, Dylan carries a past marked by betrayal from his stepmother and half-sister in their struggle for inheritance. Suffering from a strange illness caused by poisoning, he seeks out traditional Chinese medicine doctor Bao Ngoc and inadvertently becomes entangled in a meticulously planned conspiracy.

During his treatment journey, Dylan gradually identifies his enemy, enters into a tense battle of wits, and develops feelings for Bao Ngoc – who both saved him and is a "pawn" in a plot to harm him. A series of events, from the secret of his true identity to the death of his father, plunges everything into tragedy and raises questions about truth and ultimate peace.

"The Bloodline Joke" features actors such as Hoai An, Quoc Tan, Tran Nhat Hao, Le Khanh Linh, Song Duong, Hoa Van Thanh, Lai Nhat Khoa, Tin Kiet... The film is broadcast on the Special Vietnamese Film Slot at 7:30 PM every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday on HTV7 channel.
