On the afternoon of March 25, the Bao Loc City Police ( Lam Dong province) conducted a search of the residence of K'Boi (43 years old, residing in B'Do village, Loc An commune, Bao Lam district) to investigate the theft of property.
According to initial information, on the evening of March 21st, the Loc Phat Ward Police in Bao Loc City received a report from the family of Mr. VQL (residing on Nguyen Van Cu Street, Loc Phat Ward) regarding a burglary in which a large amount of property, including gold and cash, was stolen. Specifically, the thieves broke into the bedroom and stole 5.4 taels of 9999 gold; one necklace, one pair of earrings, one bracelet (all 18K gold) and 38.6 million VND.
Through investigation, the authorities identified K'Bỏi as the person who stole the gold and money and summoned him for questioning. With the evidence collected, K'Bỏi confessed and disclosed all of his theft activities.
K'Bỏi confessed that on the afternoon of March 21st, taking advantage of the homeowner's absence, he pried open a window to break in and steal the aforementioned assets. He then divided the money and gold into smaller portions and hid them in the coffee garden and inside the house.
It is known that the suspect has a prior conviction for theft. The case is currently under investigation.
