On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), the Hanoi Cultural Center and Library organizes an exhibition of books and newspapers with the theme "Vietnam - 80 years of the journey of independence, freedom, and happiness".

The exhibition introduces more than 400 selected precious documents, recreating the heroic journey from the August Revolution, when Uncle Ho read the Declaration of Independence at the historic Ba Dinh Square on September 2, 1945, to the country's achievements today.
The exhibition includes four main contents: " The Communist Party of Vietnam - The decisive factor for the victory of the Vietnamese Revolution", "The August Revolution of 1945 - A great turning point in the history of the nation", "The Declaration of Independence of 1945 and the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam", "Vietnam on the journey of development - Achievements and prospects".


The exhibition is an opportunity for readers to return to the autumn of independence, with the glorious milestones of the nation over the past 80 years through books and newspapers archived at the Hanoi Cultural Center and Library. This is also an opportunity to educate the tradition of patriotism, arouse the will, the spirit of self-reliance, promote the heroic tradition, the strength of great national unity, promote innovation and integration to build the Capital increasingly rich, civilized and modern, contributing to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
The exhibition is open to visitors until September 5, at the lobby on the 1st floor, 54E Tran Hung Dao, Cua Nam ward, Hanoi.
