Regiment 29 (Army Corps 34): Launching the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign "Green March"

The summer youth volunteer campaign "Green March" of the 29th Regiment's Youth Union with many practical and meaningful activities such as: Coordinate with the Ia Bang Commune Youth Union to organize propaganda and mobilize people to well implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; propagate and raise people's awareness of the Party and State's ethnic and religious policies; and the arguments, plots and sabotage activities of hostile forces, contributing to maintaining political security and social order and safety in the area.

Organize the unit's youth union members to coordinate with the youth union members of Ia Bang commune and local people to dredge drainage ditches, repair inter-village roads; provide free haircuts for children; whitewash schools, repair desks and chairs for students of Ia Bang Primary School. Along with that, organize activities to visit and support policy families and people with revolutionary contributions on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 / July 27, 2025) and the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution, National Day September 2; cultural and artistic exchanges, physical education and sports .

Speaking to direct and encourage cadres, union members and youth of the unit and the locality, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Tran Quoc Viet emphasized: In every historical period, youth have always played a pioneering and creative role, making great contributions to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland. Union members and youth of Regiment 29 always inherit and promote the tradition, qualities, pioneering and creative spirit of Vietnamese youth and youth of the Army, successfully carrying out the political tasks of the unit, helping people develop the socio -economy, and building a strong local political base.

“The 2025 summer youth volunteer campaign “Green March” is a meaningful and humane activity of the youth of Regiment 29. Through it, we not only help people with practical activities but also contribute to gathering and uniting youth and strengthening military-civilian solidarity, creating an environment for union members to practice, contribute and mature,” shared the Deputy Political Commissar of Regiment 29.

Colonel Nguyen Tien Dung said that the 2025 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign of the 34th Corps youth focuses on 7 main activities: Exam Support Program; Green Summer Campaign; Green March Campaign; social security activities; gratitude; traditional education; environmental protection.

“The Union members and youth of the Corps have coordinated to support nearly 20,000 working days to consolidate and renovate 103 “Houses of Gratitude”, “Houses of Comrades”, “Policy Houses”, “Houses of 100 Dong” and 207 houses under the Emulation Movement to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses; thereby contributing to taking care of social security, improving the lives of soldiers and people in the area, spreading the qualities and image of Uncle Ho's soldiers in the hearts of the people”, Colonel Nguyen Tien Dung informed.
