The above information was given at the 2025 career counseling session of the National Economics University (NEU), on May 25.
At the consultation session, many parents and students requested answers to a series of questions about enrollment and this year's admission process.
A candidate who is concerned about how to convert admission scores this year, Dr. Le Anh Duc, Head of the Training Management Department of the National Economics University, said that this is hot information in the past few days. However, parents and students should only read it for reference and should not worry too much.
For the National Economics University, before 5:00 p.m. on July 23, the school announced the method of converting this year's admission scores because relying on last year's results of other candidates is completely worthless.

Dr. Le Anh Duc also said that in addition to the general admission system of the Ministry of Education and Training , from June 1 to June 30, candidates are required to register their wishes, documents, review methods, and review combinations on the school's system.
Regardless of the score, candidates still need to register on time. The school uses this as a basis for calculating and converting scores later. This is not early admission, but one of the steps to determine the number of candidates who wish to enter the school.
The conversion of admission scores is based on data and the number of applications submitted to the National Economics University to determine the conversion tables based on the conversion framework prescribed by the Ministry of Education and Training.
"The school will rely on the conversion framework of the Ministry of Education and Training (overall) in which the data entering the National Economics University is a subset of that whole.
Second, we must rely on data from recent years. For example, if you get 100 points in the entrance exam to the National Economics University, what are your academic results? If you get 28 points in the high school graduation exam, what are your academic results?
It cannot be said that the Hanoi National University (HAS)'s 100-point competency assessment test score is equivalent to 28 points while the average results of the two students are not equivalent," said Dr. Duc.

According to this expert, when converting HSA exam scores or thinking assessment scores of Hanoi University of Science and Technology (TSA), National Economics University converts to only one combination for equality and no difference in scores between the combinations.
Interesting information that the school has just released, a survey of the results of the past 3 years at the National Economics University shows that candidates using HAS exam scores, combined with English certificates, have the best academic results compared to other admission methods.
Giving advice to candidates before, Dr. Le Anh Duc said that basically, the changes in this year's regulations are all aimed at creating favorable conditions for candidates in the admission process.
Regardless of the equivalence conversion rules, candidates with good abilities demonstrated through the results of ability assessment exams, thinking assessments, high school graduation exams, etc., will certainly have many opportunities to be admitted to good schools and majors.
Therefore, candidates can rest assured, focus on studying and reviewing to prepare the best conditions for the upcoming admission period and follow and update official information from the Ministry of Education and Training and training institutions about admission.
