On the evening of May 19, the Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency (C01) issued a decision to prosecute and temporarily detain Miss Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien to investigate the crime of "Deceiving customers" related to the Kera vegetable candy product.
According to the investigation agency, Kera candy is a product jointly produced by Thuy Tien and shareholders of Chi Em Rot Company. Thuy Tien holds 30% of the profits according to the capital contribution ratio, the remaining shareholders hold 70%. The promotion and release of the product are considered to have signs of fraud and deception of consumers.
