Hanoi College of Medical Technology and Pharmacy is a pioneer in training Traditional Medicine at college level.

With the advantage and tradition of 15 years specializing in training in the field of Medicine and Pharmacy of the Capital, headquartered in the inner city district of Hanoi , with more than 10,000 graduates, Hanoi College of Medical Technology and Pharmacy is one of the first schools in the country licensed by the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs to train Traditional Medicine at college level.

After more than 15 years of implementing Directive No. 24-CT/TW, the awareness, consciousness and responsibility of many Party committees, Party organizations, authorities and people about the position and role of Vietnamese Traditional Medicine and the Vietnam Oriental Medicine Association have been raised. The system of policies and laws on Traditional Medicine has been reviewed, amended, supplemented and gradually improved; the Traditional Medicine Development Program has been built and implemented, combining Traditional Medicine with Modern Medicine.

The Vietnam Traditional Medicine Association at all levels has been strengthened and operates actively and effectively, making an important contribution to the work of caring for, protecting and improving people's health.
