Hanoi Law University increases enrollment quota, maintains stable admission combinations

This year, the school applies three admission methods: direct admission; admission based on high school academic results (applicable to candidates graduating in 2025) and admission based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam.

Of which, about 3% of the quota is reserved for direct admission. In case the number of direct admission candidates is not enough, the remaining quota will be transferred to other methods.

Admission combinations remain stable as in previous years. Specifically, Law majors enroll students according to combinations A00, A01, C00, D01 to D06; International Commercial Law and English Language majors enroll students according to combinations A01 and D01.

Candidates can register an unlimited number of wishes by major and do not need to choose an admission combination; the admission software will automatically select the combination with the highest result for admission for each candidate.

Admission is conducted according to the following principles: according to each admission method, major code or training program, candidates are considered from high to low scores until the quota is met, regardless of the order of wishes between candidates.

In particular, for candidates with valid international language certificates at the time of admission and recognized by the Ministry of Education and Training , the school will convert the foreign language admission scores accordingly according to regulations.

Specifically, candidates with English language certificates: IELTS Academic 6.5 points, TOEFL ITP 587 points, TOEFL iBT 95 points or higher are converted to 10 points in English; IELTS Academic 6.0 points, TOEFL ITP 563 points, TOEFL iBT 85 points or higher are converted to 9.5 points in English; IELTS Academic 5.5 points, TOEFL ITP 537 points, TOEFL iBT 75 points or higher are converted to 9.0 points in English.

For other foreign languages such as Russian, French, German, Chinese, Japanese, candidates with a C2 certificate will be converted to 10 points; C1 level is 9.5 points and B2 level is 9 points.

Registration of admission wishes is carried out according to the general plan and instructions of the Ministryof Education and Training.

Hanoi Law University will have specific announcements and instructions for candidates who wish to convert foreign language certificates into admission scores. The expected registration period is from June 30 to July 15.
