On February 20, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Hoang Minh Son signed two decisions allowing Hanoi Pedagogical University to train history-geography pedagogy (code 7140249) and natural science pedagogy (code 7140247) at university level.
"Hanoi National University of Education shall determine enrollment targets, enroll students, organize and manage training, and grant degrees according to current regulations; evaluate the quality and accredit training programs according to regulations in Clause 5, Article 33 of the Law on Higher Education (amended and supplemented)," the decision stated.
Thus, from 2024, Hanoi National University of Education is allowed to train 29 pedagogical majors (including history - geography pedagogy, natural science pedagogy) and 16 non-pedagogical majors.
This year, Hanoi National University of Education plans to enroll about 4,400 students through five admission methods, including: Admission based on the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam, direct admission, consideration of high school transcripts, entrance exams (aptitude exams, capacity assessment exams), and a combination of entrance exams and admission.
In which all school admission methods require conditions on conduct and high school academic performance of candidates.
In 2023, the admission score to Hanoi National University of Education based on high school graduation exam results ranges from 18.3 to 28.4. The history pedagogy major has the highest admission score. With the method of considering academic records, the admission score ranges from 20.5 to 29.8 points.
