Established in 2021, Son La Star Kindergarten has an area of over 3,259 m², open educational space, well-invested, modern, synchronous facilities and meets the requirements of teaching and learning. After 4 years of operation, from the initial 13 classrooms, the school now has 25 solid classrooms and 4 specialized functional rooms. In addition to closely following the preschool education program of the Ministry of Education and Training , the school also flexibly applies many advanced educational methods such as STEAM, Montessori, Gigo, Sunbot, Glenn Doman and multi-sensory experiences, for children to get acquainted with English from an early age, selected by the Department of Education and Training as a unit to deploy the STEAM education program.

The school currently has 76 staff, teachers and employees, of which over 56% of staff, managers and teachers have university degrees. Children are provided with 5 meals/day at school; 100% of malnourished, overweight and obese children are promptly intervened with appropriate measures; The rate of children with physical development is over 96%, children with cognitive, language and aesthetic development is over 97%. The quality of child care annually reaches 97 - 100% of the set target, the rate of malnourished children is always maintained below 1.3%. In particular, the school has been recognized for Level 3 educational quality assessment - the highest level in the preschool education quality assessment system.

At the ceremony, the leaders of To Hieu ward presented the Certificate of National Standard Level II recognition of the school by the Provincial People's Committee to Son La Star Kindergarten; presented the title of "Excellent Labor Collective"; Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to the school and 2 individuals; 10 individuals received the title of "Emulation Fighter", 5 individuals received certificates of merit from the City People's Committee (old).
