On the afternoon of June 1st, at the headquarters of the Thu Duc City Police Department in Ho Chi Minh City, a ceremony was held to present the decision to transfer Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dinh Duong, Head of the Road and Rail Traffic Police Department (PC08) of the Ho Chi Minh City Police, to take up the position of Head of the Thu Duc City Police Department, replacing Colonel Nguyen Hoang Thang, who has been transferred to the Supreme People's Procuracy.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dinh Duong (47 years old, from Cu Chi District, Ho Chi Minh City) previously held the position of Deputy Head of the Police Department of District 2 (formerly).
In May 2020, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dinh Duong was assigned by the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department's Board of Directors to the position of Chief of Police of District 4.
In December 2020, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dinh Duong was reassigned by the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department's Board of Directors to the position of Head of PC08.
The Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Police also issued a decision to transfer and appoint Lieutenant Colonel Tran Trung Hieu, Deputy Head of the Police Department for Administrative Management of Social Order (PC06) of the Ho Chi Minh City Police, to take up the position of Head of PC08, replacing Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dinh Duong.
