Lam Son High School for the Gifted continues its proud tradition

In the 2022-2023 school year, teachers and students of Lam Son High School for the Gifted have made continuous efforts to successfully complete their tasks in all areas from generaleducation to programs on life ideals and life skills for students, especially key education. In addition, mass organizations have also truly promoted their roles and responsibilities, making significant contributions to the overall achievements of the school.

This is also the first school year that the school implements the 2018 general education program at the high school level, a new general education program built according to a modern, developed model, helping students form the qualities and abilities that the school and society expect. Although the challenges are greater and the requirements are higher, it is also an opportunity for teachers and students of the school to strive to continue writing proud pages of traditional history, continuing to be the leading flag of the education sector of Thanh Hoa province.

In the spirit of determination to build a friendly, positive educational environment and towards a happy school, in the past school year, the school has enhanced life skills training for students, through extracurricular activities, group activities, supporting and promoting the activities of clubs in the school, focusing on diverse forms of education in the school. Organizing cultural, artistic, sports activities, spring fairs to create suitable and meaningful playgrounds, thereby improving the quality of comprehensive education for students.

The most outstanding highlight of the school is the quality of key education. With the close attention and direction of leaders at all levels, the coordination of departments, the support of parents and especially the spirit of solidarity and efforts to overcome all difficulties of the team of teachers and students, in the 2022-2023 school year, the quality of key education of the school is increasingly improved with many outstanding achievements:

- Provincial excellent students: 86 students won prizes with 7 first prizes, 46 second prizes, 24 third prizes, 09 encouragement prizes, ranked first in the province.

- National excellent students: 60 students won prizes with 03 first prizes, 15 second prizes, 22 third prizes, 20 encouragement prizes, ranked 6th nationwide in terms of the number of students winning prizes.

- 02 students were able to attend the Asia Pacific International Olympiad in Physics and Informatics, 01 student received a certificate of merit in Physics.

- In particular, Le Viet Hoang Anh proudly continued the school's traditional gold medal when he won the Silver Medal at the International Physics Olympiad in July 2023 in Japan.

At the same time, the quality of teachers and staff in the school is also increasingly improved. In the 2022-2023 school year, the whole school has 22 comrades proposed to be Emulation Fighters at the grassroots level, 113 comrades recognized as Advanced Workers, 01 comrade proposed to be Emulation Fighter at the national level, 01 comrade proposed to be Emulation Fighter at the provincial level, 13 comrades proposed to receive Certificates of Merit from the Department Director, 02 comrades proposed to receive Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister, 04 comrades proposed to receive Certificates of Merit from the Minister of Education and Training, 02 comrades proposed to receive Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; the school proposed to receive the Emulation Flag of the Provincial People's Committee and the Emulation Flag of the Prime Minister.

Lam Son High School for the Gifted has concluded the 2022-2023 school year with brilliant and proud achievements. These are not just numbers but also the result of the tireless efforts of the teachers and students of the school.
