Efforts to innovate and create
The Vietnamese lesson of class 5/3 with the topic "Observing and finding ideas for a descriptive essay" was started by teacher Nguyen Thi Hai Luu with a fun musical activity. Under the guidance of the class monitor, the whole class had an energetic start before entering the game "Decoding keywords". Dozens of curious eyes turned to the TV screen, many arms raised to answer questions, taking turns exploring each puzzle piece. When the last puzzle piece was opened, the whole class exclaimed with delight at the beautiful image of sunrise on Nha Trang beach. After the interactive activity, Ms. Luu also organized for the students to play the role of young tour guides, introducing the beautiful scenery of their homeland to practice their imagination, observation and knowing how to express emotions with beautiful words and ideas.

Ms. Luu shared that, to make each lesson more attractive and lively, instead of the one-way question-and-answer teaching method as before, teachers often flexibly combine many diverse teaching methods and forms such as: Group discussion, competition between groups, organizing quizzes, quick answers..., creating continuous interaction between teachers and students and between students. Depending on each student in each class, each teacher has their own suitable methods. Currently, thanks to the application of digital technology and a rich electronic learning material store, teachers are convenient in designing lectures, students can experience lessons in a more vivid and effective way.
Focus on building a team of teachers
Ms. Do Thi Huong Sim - Vice Principal of Vinh Nguyen 1 Primary School said that in recent years, the school has paid special attention to building a core team of teachers with solid expertise and good professional skills. Professional group leaders have been trained in capacity, updated on teaching methods according to the 2018 General Education Program; teachers actively self-study and self-train to improve their qualifications. In particular, the school's Board of Directors regularly observes and visits classes to give comments on teaching sessions; organizes periodic professional activities, creating an environment for sharing and promoting the strengths of each teacher. The emulation movements "Good teaching - Good learning", "Building a friendly school, active students", "Innovation and creativity in teaching and learning" ... have been widely deployed, with specific and clear criteria to create motivation to strive, a spirit of competition among the staff, teachers and employees of the school.
In recent years, Vinh Nguyen 1 Primary School has been assessed as a unit that maintains good teaching and learning quality. The rate of students completing primary school program is 100%; many students won high prizes in competitions and competitions at all levels; creative experiential activities and extracurricular education are promoted, contributing to the goal of developing capacity, qualities and life skills for students. According to the school's leaders, in the coming time, the school will focus on improving the professional qualifications of the teaching staff through training activities, class observation, building group-level and school-level topics, organizing exchanges and learning for teachers. In addition, it focuses on coordinating with parents to perform well the educational task and invest in facilities and teaching equipment to meet the requirements of the 2018 General Education Program.
Vinh Nguyen 1 Primary School currently has 953 students and 43 staff, teachers and employees. Over the past 5 years (2020 - 2025), the school has continuously achieved the title of Excellent Labor Collective; 3 times received certificates of merit from the Provincial People's Committee; 1 time received a certificate of merit from the Prime Minister for outstanding achievements in education and training from 2018-2019 to the 2023-2024 school year; The school's Union has been recognized as a strong union at the provincial level for 5 consecutive years.
