The Literature School implements economic development solutions.

KOVI Company, located in Truong Van commune, operates in the garment export sector, providing employment for 150 workers with an income of 8-10 million VND per person per month.

Accordingly, the economic structure is oriented towards harmonious development between three pillars: Agriculture; Industry - small-scale handicrafts; and Trade - services. Based on this, the locality is promoting the transformation of crop and livestock structures and applying science and technology to improve production efficiency. In the first quarter of 2026, the total cultivated area in the commune reached 362 hectares; the commune also maintained and developed a VietGAP-certified agricultural production area of 78 hectares, including: 75 hectares of rice; 3 hectares of concentrated safe vegetable production; and the area of land consolidated for large-scale, high-tech production reached 232.5 hectares, equivalent to 103% of the plan...

Many household economic models have proven effective. A prime example is the family of Ms. Ho Thuy Chung in Van Do village. With the support of the local government in providing legal assistance, her family mobilized other households to accumulate over 20 hectares of land for lease and production. After leasing the land, Ms. Chung improved it and partnered with a business to introduce Taiwanese glutinous rice varieties for cultivation. On average, they harvest about 90 tons of glutinous rice per year with two crops, yielding a profit of over 300 million VND after deducting expenses.

A prominent highlight of Truong Van is its efforts to attract investment and expand development opportunities. Many projects in the service, trade, and industrial sectors are gradually creating jobs and increasing income for the people. Many businesses and production facilities dealing in construction materials, fine art wood products, textiles, etc., are operating efficiently and expanding their production scale. Notable examples include Hung Dong Hung Yen Company, operating in the garment industry and providing jobs for hundreds of workers; Long An businesses operating in the trade and service sector; Duong Gia Hoang Company; and KOVI Company, operating in the export garment industry, providing jobs for 150 workers with an income of 8-10 million VND per person per month.

In Truong Van commune, there are currently 3 markets that meet food safety and hygiene standards, and many businesses such as Vinmart, family supermarkets, mini-supermarkets, and cashless payment convenience stores that have contributed to promoting and introducing OCOP products in the locality; postal services, transportation, information technology, etc., continue to develop, meeting the needs of serving the people.

Alongside this, e-commerce and online businesses have developed, contributing to the transformation of modern business methods. Many other service sectors such as transportation, warehousing, real estate business, processing, etc., operate effectively, contributing positively to economic growth and structural transformation, as well as labor. Currently, the average per capita income in Truong Van commune reaches 70 million VND/year.

According to Le Ngoc Thang, Chairman of the People's Committee of Truong Van Commune: From the beginning of the year, the commune's Party Committee and government identified economic development as a key task, and therefore focused on decisively and comprehensively leading and directing various solutions. The locality prioritizes leveraging its advantages to support people in developing effective economic models. The commune also promotes administrative reform and digital transformation to create a favorable environment for development. Besides the achievements, the locality still faces some difficulties such as small-scale production, weak linkages, and limited application of high technology. However, with the coordinated efforts of the entire political system and the proactive and creative efforts of the people, Truong Van is gradually overcoming these challenges and moving towards sustainable development.

In the coming period, Truong Van commune will focus on developing key products such as clean Huong Que rice..., expanding concentrated production areas; encouraging the application of science and technology and digital transformation in agriculture; promoting the development of industry, handicrafts, and trade and services; strengthening production linkages along the value chain, improving quality, and building local product brands... With these comprehensive and decisive solutions from the beginning of the year, a solid foundation will be laid for the locality to successfully achieve its socio-economic development goals in 2026 and the following years.
