Throughout thousands of years of building and defending the country, with a passionate love for the Fatherland and a strong, indomitable will, generations of Vietnamese people have not spared blood and bones, and are ready to sacrifice their lives for independence and freedom.

During the resistance war against the US to save the country, many of our cadres and soldiers forever laid down their lives so that the country could blossom with independence, bear fruit of freedom, and fulfill its noble international mission. To this day, the remains of many martyrs still lie somewhere in the territory of Vietnam and Laos, leaving behind an inconsolable sorrow.
