On the evening of November 26, An Lac Ward Police, Ho Chi Minh City, extracted camera footage from around Huong Lo 5 Street to identify the person who abandoned a newborn baby girl in a wild grass field in front of a residential area.
That same afternoon, the local people heard a continuous crying sound in the lawn so they ran out to check. Here, everyone was shocked to discover a newborn baby girl wrapped in a towel lying in the grass, close to the ditch, with many insect bites on her body so they called the police.
The newborn girl was pulled out of the bushes by the authorities and taken to the hospital for emergency treatment. She is currently receiving special care.
