Colonel Ngo Van Thanh, Political Commissar of Naval Region 5 (first from the left), and other delegates visit the photo exhibition space.
Beyond showcasing their military and defense roles and responsibilities, the photo exhibition also profoundly portrays the close relationship between naval soldiers and the people and local authorities. Through activities such as rescue operations, disaster relief, assisting the people in responding to natural disasters, contributing to the xây dựng nông thôn mới (new rural development) program, and guiding people in venturing out to sea, the image of the soldiers emerges as approachable, responsible, and full of humanity. This is also the positive message disseminated from the exhibition: naval soldiers are not only a force protecting maritime sovereignty, but also a solid support for the people in the areas where they are stationed.
Students in the area are fascinated by images of the Navy's training, combat readiness, patrol, and maritime sovereignty protection activities.
The highlight of the exhibition is a dedicated space showcasing the outstanding achievements in implementing the Resolution of the Party Congress of the 5th Naval Region and the Navy for the 2020-2025 term. Through each documentary image, viewers can clearly feel the efforts, sense of responsibility, and determination of the officers and soldiers of the 5th Naval Region in building a clean and strong Party Committee and a comprehensively strong, "exemplary and outstanding" unit.
Throughout the six days of the event, the photo exhibition "Proud to be a Naval Soldier" attracted thousands of officers, soldiers, youth union members, and students from the area to visit and learn, contributing to fostering patriotism and cultivating a sense of responsibility in preserving and protecting the sacred sovereignty of the Fatherland's seas and islands, especially for today's young generation.
