The program is implemented in accordance with the Prime Minister 's directive on urgent solutions to prevent and handle environmental pollution, while meeting the need to combine personal vehicles with public transport for passengers.

According to regulations, folding bicycles must be neatly packed in a specialized bag, not exceeding 120 x 70 x 40 cm in size, not obstructing train space and operating safety. Passengers are not allowed to use bicycles to pedal, push or unfold them to move around in the station area and on the train. People carrying folding bicycles must take care of their own property, avoid collisions that cause damage to equipment and infrastructure, and comply with safety regulations and public behavior culture.
The above plan will be piloted by Urban Railway Company No. 1 (HURC1) for 3 months from today (August 1) to October 31. The pilot aims to assess the actual needs and ability to connect personal vehicles with the metro, aiming for official implementation in the future.
After more than 7 months of operation, Metro Line 1 has attracted more than 11.7 million passengers (serving an average of 55,235 passengers per day). Currently, Metro Line 1 operates 226 trains per day, with a 7-8 minute interval between each trip during peak hours. Recently, Ho Chi Minh City has also changed the routes of many busy bus routes, increasing connections with the city's first metro line to meet the increasing travel needs of people after merging with Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau .
