During the inspection, the commander of Brigade 164 reported to the working group on the results of task implementation in the first five months of 2026 in various aspects: training and combat readiness; preparation for the "Sustainable Air Defense Dome" exercise; building a regular army and managing discipline; Party work and political work; logistics, technical, financial and ensuring the well-being of the troops.

The delegation directly inspected the training discipline, combat readiness, record keeping system, lesson plans, teaching models and equipment, training grounds; Party and political work activities; logistics and technical support; and the living conditions and accommodation of the troops.

The inspection revealed that the Brigade had thoroughly implemented the resolutions and directives of higher authorities. Training and combat readiness were strictly maintained. Significant positive changes were observed in the development of regular troops and the cultivation of discipline. The material and spiritual well-being of the soldiers was also well-cared for and ensured.

In his concluding remarks after the inspection, Major General Le Xuan Thuan acknowledged and commended the achievements of Brigade 164 in the past period. He also requested the Brigade's Party Committee and command to continue leading and directing efforts to improve the quality of political and ideological education ; to effectively implement and concretize resolutions of Party committees at all levels; and to strictly adhere to directives and orders regarding training and combat readiness.

The Commander of the 12th Army Corps emphasized: The unit needs to focus on improving the quality of training according to the motto "basic, practical, and solid," closely aligned with actual combat and the target of operations. Strengthen the training of officers at all levels, especially at the grassroots level, paying attention to training methods and testing the three subjects of explosives for new recruits. Organize thorough training and effectively handle situations in the "Sustainable Air Defense Dome" exercise. Continue to make breakthroughs in improving the quality of regularization and discipline training.

The brigade needs to enhance the effectiveness of Party and political work in carrying out its tasks, building strong political resolve and high determination among officers and soldiers. Alongside this, the brigade should consistently prioritize ensuring good logistical, technical, and financial support, building a comprehensively strong unit that is "exemplary and outstanding."
