The European Education Week is organized annually by the Delegation of the European Union and the Embassies of EU Member States in Vietnam. This year's program takes place from 19-23 October 2024, including two main events: European Education Fair and Erasmus+ Vietnam Day.

The European Education Fair 2024 is the first time Vietnam has welcomed the direct participation of nearly 60 universities from EU countries, providing a lot of information and attractive scholarship opportunities on majors and levels of study. In addition, the consulting booths of the EU Alumni Network, the EU Delegation, the Embassies and organizations of 18 EU member states in Vietnam including Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, and EU education programs will share diverse perspectives on the experience of living in Europe.

In addition, for the first time, the European Education Fair organized a discussion session with the participation of European enterprises in Vietnam, providing useful information on developing necessary skills and career opportunities in enterprises for European students when returning to Vietnam. All of this creates an event that cannot be missed for any student interested in studying abroad.

As part of the European Education Week 2024, the first Erasmus+ Day Vietnam event will share valuable information about the Erasmus+ program for universities, organizations and education managers, while creating opportunities for Vietnamese and European universities to expand connections, share professional experiences in cooperation projects, and establish new partnerships.

EU Ambassador to Vietnam Julien Guerrier said: “The EU-Vietnam partnership is strong and has become one of the deepest and most comprehensive in the region. The world is facing huge challenges such as climate change, security issues, and must keep up with new technologies, which require highly skilled and qualified managers, scientists and professionals. This can be achieved through study abroad, which is what a study abroad experience in Europe can bring.”

“Studying in Europe not only helps international students bring back valuable knowledge accumulated in the classroom to Vietnam, but also has a variety of study options, affordable costs, and more importantly, personal experiences of culture and society. What you bring back to your homeland is your own Europe, which is the accumulation of life experiences, history and innovation that has truly helped you broaden your mind. I believe that, with meetings with representatives of nearly 60 EU universities and EU member states at the European Education Week 2024, students will have a comprehensive view of what studying in Europe can bring and be inspired for their study abroad journey,” Ambassador Julien Guerrier added.
