Sam Son Beach Tourism Festival in full swing

The celebration of the 60th anniversary of the founding of Sam Son city and the opening of the 2023 Sea Tourism Festival will take place on Saturday evening (April 22nd) at the Sam Son Beach Square stage.

The program was broadcast live on VTV1 at 8 PM and rebroadcast on Thanh Hoa Television Station.

With the theme "Sam Son: Flourishing and Shining," the opening night of this year's Sea Tourism Festival featured performances by famous music stars.

The art program features the participation of many famous artists.

Besides lyrical musical performances praising the beauty of the homeland and Thanh Hoa province, performed by singers Tan Nhan, Luong Nguyet Anh, Le Anh Dung, Bui Le Man, etc., the program also features top showbiz singers such as Thu Minh, Noo Phuoc Thinh, Tung Duong, Dong Hung, Oplus group, and more.

According to the organizers, the event's stage was elaborately designed, inspired by the Ho Dynasty Citadel – a UNESCO World Heritage site in Thanh Hoa province.

The modern lighting system will create a striking effect, illuminating the magnificent stage and the vast square, which in the future will be the focal point for leading cultural, artistic, and sporting events in Thanh Hoa and of national significance.

This year's Sea Tourism Festival coincides with a memorable milestone in the history of Sam Son's formation and development: the 60th anniversary of the city's establishment.

Through spectacular cultural performances, the organizers aim to showcase the transformation of Sam Son as well as celebrate the beauty and long-standing cultural and historical values of Thanh Hoa province.

The spectacular stage for the opening ceremony of the sea festival has been revealed.

The 15-minute fireworks display at the end of the program will light up the Sam Son beach square, marking the beginning of a vibrant summer.

Over the course of more than half a century, Sam Son has developed rapidly, undergoing a complete transformation in infrastructure and tourism services with the participation of major investors.

In particular, Sun Group, despite having only been in Thanh Hoa province for just over two years, has made a significant impact on tourism in Sam Son.

Notably, the impressively designed Sea Square and Festival Landscape Axis can accommodate up to 10,000 people. This is also the venue that has successfully hosted the opening night of the Sam Son Beach Tourism Festival for three consecutive years, from 2021 to the present.

In addition, commercial and resort urban areas invested by Sun Group are also nearing completion, bringing a new, civilized and modern look to Sam Son.

Many new experiences for tourists.

The opening ceremony of the festival will kick off the vibrant summer tourism season in Sam Son beach town. On the night of April 22nd, a water music show sponsored by Sun Group will be launched in the beach square area and will continue throughout the summer to entertain visitors.

This is a sophisticated combination of music and light, using German water jet technology with 300 nozzles, following various themes: Radiant Brilliance, Meeting Point of the Sun, Symphony of the Sea… bringing locals and tourists new experiences never before seen in Sam Son.

The musical fountain show will be a new tourist attraction in Sam Son, starting from April 22nd.

Each water show is expected to last 15 minutes, taking place at fixed times of 6:30 PM, 7:30 PM, and 8:30 PM on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays (during the end-of-month holidays, there will be continuous performances from April 29th to May 2nd).

This year, Sun Group continues its partnership with the local authorities to organize the Street Carnival, scheduled to take place in June and July.

Participating in the event are dancers from both Vietnam and abroad, promising to liven up the festive atmosphere with vibrant colors and attract tourists to Sam Son.

In addition, other activities such as the 5th Open Cycling Race, the Sticky Rice Cake Festival, the Fishing Festival - Boat Racing, the National Beach Wrestling Championship… will take place throughout the summer, creating an attractive tourist destination in Sam Son, aiming to welcome 7.2 million visitors this summer.

In particular, with the official opening of the largest beachfront square and boulevard in Vietnam, Sam Son city will have a new and exciting public space compared to previous years.

Like famous squares in major cities around the world, this will be an attractive space for recreation, entertainment, shopping, and experiences, meeting the diverse needs of locals and tourists, helping to solve the problem of a lack of recreational spaces and tourism products in this famous coastal city.
