Phu Nghia Youth unite, pioneer digital transformation, build a modern homeland

HNP - On September 21, the Youth Union of Phu Nghia commune solemnly held the first Congress of delegates for the 2025-2030 term, affirming the aspiration to contribute and the pioneering spirit of the commune's youth in the digital transformation process, building a civilized and modern homeland. The Congress was attended by 121 official delegates, representing 756 union members currently active in 57 affiliated Youth Union units.

The political report presented to the Congress showed that during the past term, Phu Nghia youth have left many clear marks, affirming the pioneering role of youth in local development, creating a widespread influence. The commune Youth Union has proactively advised the Party Committee and the government to create conditions for youth to undertake youth projects and tasks; at the same time, closely coordinated with departments, branches and organizations in implementing tasks. Political, ideological, ethical and lifestyle education has been promoted, associated with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics and style, helping union members to train their mettle, will and revolutionary ideals.

During the past term, revolutionary action movements were widely deployed, many youth projects contributed to beautifying and renewing the appearance of the commune. The commune's Youth Union has implemented 16 mural wall projects, nearly 200 trash bins, 6 youth flower gardens, and electric lighting lines worth nearly 1 billion VND, creating landscape highlights and improving the quality of life. The programs "Supporting the exam season", supporting people to perform online public services, preventing dengue fever... have been maintained effectively.

Volunteer and social security activities are maintained and strongly spread through a series of meaningful programs such as "Winter Volunteer", "Warm Tet", "Helping Children Go to School", "The Youth Union's Foster Children"... with a total value of over 500 million VND. The commune Youth Union organized 18 voluntary blood donation sessions, received more than 1,000 units of blood, gave hundreds of gifts, examined and distributed free medicine to nearly 600 wounded soldiers and policy beneficiaries.

The movement "Youth volunteers to protect the Fatherland" was promoted with more than 100 young people joining the army, including 83 volunteers. The work of building the Youth Union achieved many results exceeding the target: more than 600 new members were admitted, 45 outstanding members were introduced to the Party for consideration, reaching 125% of the plan, demonstrating the pioneering spirit, the desire to contribute and the determination to grow of the Phu Nghia youth.

Entering the 2025-2030 term, the Youth Union of Phu Nghia commune has determined the motto "Solidarity - Pioneering - Courage - Creativity". The goal is to build a generation of young people who are patriotic, have revolutionary ideals, strong political will, are proficient in digital skills and are ready to contribute. The Youth Union of the commune strives to annually admit 100 new members, introduce at least 100 outstanding members to the Party for consideration; carry out at least 5 youth projects and tasks, including 2 projects to digitize red addresses and 3 projects to protect the environment; provide career counseling for about 100 union members and young people each year. The goal is that by 2030, 100% of young people in the area will be equipped with basic digital skills.

The Congress also identified two breakthroughs: Pioneering in digital transformation, innovating youth activities, promoting the role of youth in building a bright - green - clean - beautiful society associated with preserving cultural identity.

He emphasized that each cadre and member needs to uphold responsibility, be creative, pioneering, exemplary, dare to think, dare to do, dare to commit to arouse the spirit of dedication, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 1st Commune Party Congress. "The Party Committee will always pay attention and create conditions for the Youth Union to promote its youth, its pioneering and creative role, to become a reliable reserve force of the Party, joining hands to build an increasingly civilized and modern homeland, with happy people", affirmed Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Phu Nghia Commune.

The Congress announced the decision of the Hanoi Youth Union on appointing the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary, and Inspection Committee of the Phu Nghia Commune Youth Union for the 2025-2030 term. Comrade Nguyen Thi Thanh Hai was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Phu Nghia Commune Youth Union for the 2025-2030 term, continuing to lead the commune's youth firmly in the journey of innovation and digital transformation.
