The program is organized by BTTEVN Fund in coordination with Can Tho Department of Health and relevant local units.

Accompanying the delegation were representatives of the President's Office , the Ministry of Health, and the BTTEVN Fund. On the local side, there were representatives of the Can Tho City People's Committee, the Department of Health, the City Youth Union, departments, branches, local authorities, and disadvantaged children in the area. On the sponsor side, there were Ms. Bui Kim Phung, Director of Nhan Tam Wood Company Limited; Ms. Vo Thuy Hien, Director of Au Lac Vegetarian Food Production and Trading Company Limited; and representatives of the Vietnam National Petroleum Group.
At the program, the Vietnam Children's Fund received the generosity of individuals and organizations to donate to children in special and difficult circumstances in Can Tho city on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival 2025 with a total value of 1.3 billion VND, including: 800 million VND from Ms. Bui Kim Phung - Director of Nhan Tam Wood Company Limited, 200 million VND from Ms. Vo Thuy Hien - Director of Au Lac Vegetarian Food Production and Trading Company Limited and 300 million VND from Vietnam National Petroleum Group.

From the above fund, the Vietnam Children's Fund has implemented support contents on this occasion including: Giving 500 candy gifts (VND 150,000/gift/child); 165 bicycles (VND 1,750,000/bike/child); 437 scholarships (VND 1 million/scholarship); 100 sets of learning tools for preschool and primary school children (Pens for reading and learning English); 01 outdoor playground.
Within the framework of the program, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan directly visited, encouraged and presented Mid-Autumn gifts to children with cancer who are being treated at Can Tho City Oncology Hospital. The Vice President hopes that the children will always be strong, stay optimistic and believe in the good things ahead. Party and State leaders, doctors, teachers, benefactors and the whole society will always accompany and support them so that they can receive the best treatment. Wishing the children good health, a speedy recovery and a warm Mid-Autumn Festival filled with laughter.

In the evening of the same day, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan and her delegation attended the Mid-Autumn Festival “Lanterns to Light Up Dreams” 2025 and presented gifts to children in especially difficult circumstances at the People’s Committee of Long Phu commune. The program took place with many unique performances, creating a bustling, warm and joyful atmosphere for the children here.

The Mid-Autumn Festival program "Lanterns light up dreams" in 2025 in Can Tho city was successfully held, demonstrating the deep concern of the Party and State leaders, the responsible support of the Vietnam Children's Fund, the Can Tho City government, the Can Tho City Department of Health, and the cooperation and practical contributions of the business community and philanthropists in caring for children in special and difficult circumstances, who still face many disadvantages in life.
