Speaking at the conclusion of the two competitions, Dr. Dang Vu Canh Linh, Deputy Director of the Institute for Training and Scientific Research - Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front - Former Director of the Institute for Youth Research - Head of the Organizing Committee of the competition, said that in 2024, the second mock session of the Children's National Assembly became particularly impressive when one of the contents that the children delegates were interested in, participated in discussions, and gave enthusiastic comments at the "Parliament" was the issue of preventing and combating the harmful effects of tobacco and stimulants in the school environment.
Therefore, the contest's goal is to create a useful and interesting playground, helping children gain knowledge about preventing and combating harmful effects. of tobacco; raise awareness of harm prevention of tobacco on children and the community; promote, raise awareness, behavior and sense of responsibility of children, contribute to protecting human health and the whole society, create a useful and interesting playground, help children improve knowledge about prevention and control of harmful effects of tobacco; promote children's creativity, express their ideas and thoughts through drawings and propaganda messages, propose their own opinions on the work of preventing and combating the harmful effects of tobacco.

Two competitions were held from March 2025 to June 2025. After 3 months of launching and implementing with a spirit of enthusiastic, active, innovative and creative competition, the activities were widely deployed, attracting the attention and participation of children in many provinces/cities across the country. The competition "Learning about the harmful effects of tobacco and electronic cigarettes" for children nationwide, in 2025 received positive responses from a large number of children participating with 97,759 entries from 33 provinces and cities implementing the competition at the grassroots level.
Regarding the Painting Contest to propagate the harmful effects of tobacco with the theme " For a green life - say no to tobacco" for children nationwide, in 2025 received 102,739 Contest entries. Through their works, students have expressed creative and unique ideas, sending meaningful messages from short but easy-to-understand, easy-to-remember propaganda content, on the right topic of preventing the harmful effects of tobacco.
Through many rounds of judging from the preliminary round to the final round, the Contest's Jury and Organizing Committee decided to select 15 collective units and 15 individuals to win prizes for the Painting Contest to propagate the harmful effects of tobacco with the theme " For a green life - say no to tobacco" ; 15 collective units and 15 individuals to win prizes for the Contest "Learn about the harmful effects of tobacco and electronic cigarettes".

These are the most outstanding and highest quality works in the contest, fully demonstrating the understanding, knowledge, skills, perspectives, creativity and artistic talent of children about the harmful effects of tobacco and the current work of preventing the harmful effects of tobacco, while also expressing the children's desire to contribute more to the work of preventing the harmful effects of tobacco.
