“Quang Trung Campaign” was launched by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on November 30, with the spirit of rapidly rebuilding and repairing houses for families whose houses were damaged by recent natural disasters in the central provinces.

On the morning of December 1, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi chaired an in-person and online meeting with units and localities to listen to reports on needs and propose plans to build and repair houses for households affected by natural disasters and floods in recent times.

Opening the meeting, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi affirmed: This is an extraordinary and very important meeting, focusing on discussing the work of overcoming the consequences of the flood. In particular, the work that needs to be done immediately and urgently is to prioritize supporting, overcoming and repairing houses for the people.

According to the assessment of the Provincial People's Committee, after the flood, Lam Dong has resolutely and synchronously deployed solutions to overcome natural disasters with the viewpoint of giving the highest priority to people's lives, health and livelihoods, ensuring that no one lacks shelter, hunger or cold.

According to preliminary statistics, Lam Dong province has more than 3,000 houses damaged by floods. Of these, 76 houses were completely collapsed and swept away by floods. The remaining houses were damaged or lost less than 50%.

Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee has agreed to support 120 million VND/house that has completely collapsed. Specialized departments will coordinate with localities to survey and build new houses for people.

Currently, the support funding source is available. The Department of Finance directly guides localities to proactively complete withdrawal procedures and provide support to the people.

Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi requested that localities must have clear commitments and follow the schedule. Local authorities are fully responsible for land and paperwork procedures to proceed immediately.

During the implementation process, if any difficulties or problems arise, the localities must report them immediately. By all means, by December 20, 2025, the repair of people's houses must be completed. For households whose houses have completely collapsed, new houses must be provided by January 15, 2026.

On November 30, the Prime Minister issued Official Dispatch No. 234/CD-TTg on launching and implementing the "Quang Trung Campaign" to rapidly rebuild and repair houses for families whose houses were damaged by recent natural disasters in the Central provinces.

In order to urgently rebuild and repair houses for families whose houses were damaged in the recent natural disasters, ensuring that all people have a house, worship their ancestors, and enjoy the Lunar New Year and the New Year 2026, the Prime Minister requested the Chairmen of the People's Committees of provinces and cities from Ha Tinh to Lam Dong; focusing on the provinces of Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa, Gia Lai and Lam Dong, to organize the development of specific plans, launch and immediately deploy the "Quang Trung Campaign" on December 1 to mobilize all forces and quickly rebuild and repair houses for families whose houses collapsed, washed away, or were damaged in the recent historic storms and floods in the central regions.
