In particular, the work that needs to be done immediately and urgently is to prioritize supporting, overcoming and repairing houses for the people.

According to the assessment of the Provincial People's Committee, after the flood, Lam Dong has resolutely and synchronously deployed solutions to overcome natural disasters with the viewpoint of giving the highest priority to people's lives, health and livelihoods, ensuring that no one lacks shelter, hunger or cold.

According to preliminary statistics, Lam Dong province has more than 3,000 houses damaged by floods. Of these, 76 houses were completely collapsed and swept away by floods. The remaining houses were damaged or lost less than 50%.

Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee has agreed to support 120 million VND/house that has completely collapsed. Specialized departments will coordinate with localities to survey and build new houses for people.

Currently, the support funding source is available. The Department of Finance directly guides localities to proactively complete withdrawal procedures and provide support to the people.

Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi requested that localities must have clear commitments and follow the schedule. Local authorities are fully responsible for land and paperwork procedures to proceed immediately.
During the implementation process, if any difficulties or problems arise, the localities must report them immediately. By all means, by December 20, 2025, the repair of people's houses must be completed. For households whose houses have completely collapsed, new houses must be provided by January 15, 2026.
