According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, from the night of December 2 to the end of December 3, the eastern provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak and Khanh Hoa will have moderate to heavy rain, locally. very heavy rain with common rainfall of 70-120mm, some places over 180mm.

From the night of December 3 to December 5, from Quang Tri to Da Nang city and the east of Quang Ngai province, there will be moderate rain, heavy rain, and locally very heavy rain, with rainfall ranging from 50-150mm, with some places over 250mm.

Also according to the meteorological agency, this afternoon, December 1, Storm No. 15 Koto weakened into a tropical depression. At 13:00, the center of the tropical depression was over the northwest sea area of ​​the central East Sea.

The strongest wind near the center of the tropical depression is level 7 (50-61km/h), gusting to level 9. The tropical depression is barely moving.

Forecast until 1am on December 2, the tropical depression in the northwest sea area of ​​the central East Sea, about 200km east of the east coast of Gia Lai - Dak Lak province, moving in the southwest direction, about 5km per hour. The strongest wind near the center of the tropical depression is level 6, gusting to level 8.

At 1:00 p.m. on December 2, the center of the tropical depression over the sea of ​​Gia Lai - Dak Lak province changed direction to the southwest, moving faster at a speed of about 10km/h and weakening into a low pressure area.
