On May 24, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training held a ceremony to honor 759 outstanding students of the capital in the 2022-2023 school year. On this occasion, President Vo Van Thuong and Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son sent flower baskets to congratulate the achievements of the capital's students.
Acknowledging the results of the capital's education and training sector, especially the achievements of 759 outstanding students attending the ceremony, Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh requested the Hanoi education and training sector to focus on organizing well the early-level enrollment work, ensuring to meet the learning needs of students; prepare conditions for the high school exam so that students can achieve the highest graduation results and be admitted to universities and colleges. At the same time, effectively promote the potential, strengths, and investment resources for the development of education and training; pay attention to investing in building facilities, trees, creating a green, clean, and beautiful pedagogical environment; prioritize nurturing excellent national and international students, in parallel with gradually improving the quality of mass education .

The Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee hopes that every teacher in the capital will always be exemplary in all aspects, constantly self-study, self-improve their professional skills, innovate teaching and learning methods to train more good-natured and excellent students. How can each teacher truly be a model of self-study and creativity, a shining example for students to follow? On this occasion, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Thi Tuyen and Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh presented the Government's Emulation Flag to the Hanoi Department of Education and Training. At the ceremony, 7 students with excellent achievements in the International Olympic competition were honored to receive Certificates of Merit from the Hanoi People's Committee; 13 students won First Prize and 26 students won Second Prize in the National Competition for Excellent Students in Cultural Subjects, and students won Second Prize in the Science and Technology Competition for Students received Certificates of Merit from the Ministry of Education and Training.
