The landslide occurred the night before last (May 19th). Due to the rugged mountainous terrain, bringing heavy machinery to the scene was difficult, so the authorities and local people used manpower to break up rocks and clear debris to reopen the road.
After many hours of continuous effort, the inter-communal road has been reopened to traffic.
In response to the complex weather conditions, local police forces in various areas proactively engaged with the people and their communities, quickly deploying measures to assist the people in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters.
Earlier, on the inter-communal road between Can Ty and Nghia Thuan communes, at the border between Pai Chu Phin and Xa Phin villages in Can Ty commune, heavy rain caused many rocks to suddenly roll down from the embankment, blocking the entire road and causing a localized traffic jam. This road connects many highland residential areas, so the disruption to traffic has significantly affected the travel and transportation of goods for the people.
Immediately after receiving the report, the Can Ty Commune Police quickly arrived at the scene to organize warnings, reroute traffic, and ensure the safety of people and vehicles. Due to the rugged terrain, bringing heavy machinery to the scene was difficult. The commune police proactively coordinated with officers and soldiers of the Army, Border Guard, and local people to mobilize manpower to break rocks, clear debris, and quickly reopen the road.
