Tuyen Quang: Landslide causes local traffic jam on provincial road 177

In recent days, heavy rain has occurred in some communes of Tuyen Quang province, causing landslides on many national highways and provincial roads, causing local traffic jams.

Most seriously, in the early morning of August 23, a landslide occurred at Km28+500, Provincial Road 177, in Nam Dich Commune. The large volume of soil and rock estimated at about 10,000m3, caused damage to traffic infrastructure and caused local traffic congestion.

Immediately after the landslide, the Tuyen Quang Provincial Project Management Board directed contractors to urgently mobilize human resources and machinery to clear the soil and rocks. The construction units made efforts to clear the road before 12:00 on August 23.
