Tuyen Quang passes resolution to support travel and accommodation for cadres after reorganization and merger

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Tuyen Quang province, said that there are currently 262 legal resolutions of the People's Councils of Tuyen Quang and Ha Giang provinces that are still in effect. Among them, there are resolutions of both provinces regulating the same issue, or each province has its own resolution that the other province has not issued.

To ensure uniform application of laws in Tuyen Quang province after the merger, and to promptly abolish inappropriate regulations, the session considered and issued two resolutions on the application and abolition of legal resolutions of the People's Councils of the two provinces before the reorganization. This is a necessary requirement, in accordance with current legal regulations.

Comrade Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council spoke at the meeting.

At the meeting, the Provincial People's Council passed important resolutions, including: Regulations on the authority to approve tasks and budget estimates for purchasing, repairing, renovating, upgrading assets, equipment and expanding and constructing new construction items in invested projects; Regulations on the rental of goods and services using regular expenditure funds from the state budget under the management of the province; Regulations on policies to support agricultural production to restore areas damaged by natural disasters and pests; Regulations on policies to support travel and accommodation for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers when arranging administrative units; Regulations on a number of spending regimes to ensure the operations of People's Councils at all levels in the province.

In particular, the resolution on travel and accommodation support policies for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of provincial and communal agencies affected by the merger and arrangement of administrative units and the implementation of the 2-level local government model received the attention and consensus of cadres, civil servants and public employees in the area.

According to the resolution, cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers from Ha Giang province (before the arrangement) who return to work at the administrative center of Tuyen Quang province (after the arrangement) will be supported with accommodation of 2 million VND/person/month and travel support of 1 million VND/person/month.

For cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers working at commune-level administrative centers after the merger, the accommodation support level is 1 million VND/person/month; travel support according to the distance from legally owned residence to the workplace (unit: thousand VND/person/month): From 15-30km, support is 200,000 VND; from 31-50km, support is 400,000 VND; from 51-70km, support is 600,000 VND; from 71km or more, support is 700,000 VND.

In case of working less than 15 days, 50% of the support level is received, from 15 days or more, 100% is received. Payment is made monthly, at the same time as salary payment.

The policy applies from the date cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers are assigned to work at the administrative centers of the province and commune levels until June 30, 2027. Thereby, contributing to motivating and creating favorable conditions for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers to feel secure in their work, ensuring the effective operation of the apparatus after the arrangement.
