Lang Son focuses on developing science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation

On the afternoon of August 25, the Steering Committee for Science and Technology Development, Innovation, Digital Transformation and Project 06 of Lang Son province organized a scientific workshop with the theme: "Breakthrough solutions for science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation" and launched the movement "Digital Education for All".

The workshop was broadcast live to 65 locations at the People's Committees of communes and wards in the province.

The workshop is an opportunity for Lang Son province to summarize experiences, share visions, propose breakthrough solutions and appropriate policies for sustainable development in the new era, the era of national growth.

In recent times, in Lang Son, the "Digital Education for All" movement has been deployed synchronously from the province to the grassroots level, with the participation of the entire political system, all levels, all sectors, and close coordination between departments, branches, mass organizations, enterprises, communes, wards and people.

Speaking at the Workshop, Comrade Duong Xuan Huyen, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee for Science and Technology Development, Innovation, Digital Transformation and Project 06 of Lang Son province, requested the Department of Science and Technology of Lang Son to receive and synthesize opinions and documents, thereby presiding over and coordinating with relevant agencies and units to develop a specific action program.

In order for the "Digital Education for All" movement to truly go into depth and spread widely, Lang Son province needs to implement appropriate policies and solutions, including a pilot roadmap, responsible focal point and resource mobilization mechanism.

All levels, sectors, units, localities and people in Lang Son province continue to implement Plan No. 230 dated April 29, 2025 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee.

Along with that, Lang Son province must do a good job of propaganda and extensive mobilization throughout the province so that officials and people are clearly aware of the important role of digital transformation.

Digital technology enterprises strengthen cooperation, technology transfer, and provide “Make in Vietnam” solutions suitable for local practices; at the same time, commit to participating in supporting training and replicating effective models.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Lang Son province also affirmed that Lang Son always considers science and technology, innovation and digital transformation as one of the key breakthroughs in the development strategy; the Steering Committee will directly monitor and urge the implementation of the results of the Workshop.

During the workshop, former leaders of the Ministry of Science and Technology, leaders of the Departments and Offices of the Ministry of Science and Technology, businesses and leading scientists shared thematic content on the program to develop Vietnam's digital government by 2030.

In which, the presentations on Digital Assets - solutions for businesses to create a breakthrough platform in the digital economic era; Exploiting the power of AI; Solutions for planning, upgrading and perfecting digital infrastructure and network security for the new period; AI promotes smart tourism in Lang Son... attracted the attention of many delegates attending the conference.

The highly professional and scientific opinions, initiatives and practical solutions from experts will contribute to helping Lang Son province perfect its digital infrastructure, promote the development of digital government, digital economy, digital society and digital citizens in the coming time.

Also at the program, the workshop launched the emulation movement "Digital Education for All"; at the same time introduced the application "Lifelong Learning" on the platform "Digital Citizen of Lang Son"; launched the application Lifelong Learning on the platform Digital Citizen of Lang Son.

The workshop is an opportunity for Lang Son province to learn from experience, exchange and receive, thereby orienting strategic direction in implementing science and technology tasks, innovation and digital transformation.
