Propaganda, prevention of construction of works awaiting compensation

Mr. Ngo Van Ninh - Chief of Office, Spokesperson of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, drawing on experience from expressway projects in a number of provinces and cities, right from when Lam Dong province started the project dossier for the expressway, the Tan Phu ( Dong Nai ) - Bao Loc (Lam Dong) section and the Bao Loc - Lien Khuong section, the Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee directed localities to immediately deploy propaganda work, flying Flycam along the design route to record the current status of land use.

“This is the document that serves as the basis for the state to conduct compensation, land acquisition, and site clearance for two highway sections passing through Lam Dong province!”, said Mr. Ngo Van Ninh.

Bao Loc Pass area

Also according to the spokesperson of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, due to good propaganda work and recording of the actual status along the highway design route, up to now, there has been no discovery of people building works or planting additional long-term agricultural crops with the aim of requesting compensation from the state when reclaiming land and clearing the site for the highway.

Lam Dong province has completed 25/55km, with about 250 centerline stakes without forests. Lam Dong province has also partially adjusted the route of 4 sections of the highway, reducing the area of ​​forest that must be converted due to road construction.

Tan Phu - Bao Loc Expressway is 67km long, passing through Dong Nai and Lam Dong provinces. The starting point connects with Dau Giay - Tan Phu Expressway project, the end point is at Km 216, intersecting with Nguyen Van Cu Street (Bao Loc City, Lam Dong Province). The total investment of this section of the project is about 17,200 billion VND.

Lien Khuong Expressway

The Bao Loc - Lien Khuong expressway section connects to the Tan Phu - Bao Loc expressway, with a length of about 74km, and a total investment of 19,521 billion VND.

Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee plans to start construction of the expressway, the section from Tan Phu to Bao Loc on September 2. The section from Bao Loc City to Lien Khuong is expected to start construction in 2024.
