Tuyet Lan: 'I love my husband because he is emotional'

Ho Chi Minh City Model Tuyet Lan said she loves her husband because he is emotional and supports her completely in her work, at her wedding party on the evening of March 2.

At around 7pm, the beauty appeared at the ceremony, surprising her husband and nearly 300 guests. With the song "Love you for a long time " (Duc Huy) playing in the background, Tuyet Lan wore a light-style wedding dress and entered the stage where her groom was waiting. Thien Khanh reached out to remove the veil from his wife's head, gave her a kiss, and then they put rings on each other.

Tuyet Lan started with the sentence "Honey - my epidemic love", recalling memories of their dating. In 2021, they spent time together while stuck in Singapore due to Covid-19. She said she clearly felt the care and concern from her lover.

According to the model, her husband knows how to soothe her wounds and help her overcome emotional storms in the past. Tuyet Lan said: "In the past four years, he has never made me doubt our relationship. I love him for his hard work and he is willing to wait for hours to pick me up after work. He always smiles but inside he is worried because he always thinks about me. I love him because he is emotional, and besides me, he also loves his family and his patients."

Tuyet Lan was happy because her husband always supported her in her work and never had any doubts. She considered him not only her husband but also her soulmate. After saying that, the two kissed each other to the cheers of everyone.

The model's wedding was simple, without any flower decorations or wedding photos. On the stage, she only placed a simulation of an orchid, and outside the hall, she attached veils. The bride and groom led the party, inviting their parents to come up on stage to open wine. Tuyet Lan also arranged some games to have fun with her friends. Model Bao Hoa said: "I am happy because after all, my colleague has found a peaceful place to rest and is loved by her partner."

Tuyet Lan, 34 years old, from Ho Chi Minh City, was the runner-up of Vietnam's Next Top Model 2010. After the competition, she dreamed of working in the international market. In 2011, the beauty moved to Singapore to start a career and won the Asian Model Search 2011 championship. In 2013, Tuyet Lan signed a contract with the famous American modeling agency Wilhelmina Models. She has performed many times at New York Fashion Week, including shows by designers Elie Tahari, Park Choon Moo, Tia Cibani, Wes Gordon, Juan Carlos Obando. Recently, she returned home and performed in many shows for fashion houses.

She met Thien Khanh - a cosmetic doctor - in September 2019. The model said that at first, when he proposed, she refused because she was insecure and afraid of commitment when entering a relationship. However, he said he would wait, helping her feel the joy of being with him. He gradually conquered Tuyet Lan with his gentleness and thoughtfulness.

In April 2022, Tuyet Lan released her autobiography From Phu Dien to New York (Vietnamese Women Publishing House), dedicating a section to many love stories, including her relationship with Dr. Nguyen Thien Khanh, alongside pages about her 10-year career journey. The model decided to live with him after a proposal while traveling abroad in 2023.
