Tyrell Malacia makes a U-turn and joins PSV on loan.

The Dutch full-back was rumored to be moving to Benfica on loan last week, however, the deal with the Portuguese club fell through due to disagreements over the terms and fee.

Instead, he will join PSV Eindhoven, according to Joost Blaauwhof from Voetbal International. Malacia will undergo a mandatory medical examination in the next few hours before officially signing with PSV, with all procedures likely to be completed urgently before the winter transfer window closes. Malacia will have few other options and must move quickly to stabilize his career and begin the recovery process, trying to rediscover his form.

The Dutch player has also recently gone through a difficult period at Old Trafford since his transfer to Feyenoord in 2022, facing numerous off-field issues and receiving considerable criticism and scrutiny.
