After considering and reviewing the training process as well as the physical condition of the Vietnamese U20 women's players, today (March 3), Coach Akira Ijiri and his colleagues decided on the list of 23 players who will participate in the 2024 AFC U20 Women's Championship in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
Accordingly, the two players not on the list this time include goalkeeper Nguyen Thi Van Lien born in 2004 ( Hanoi Sports Training Center) and striker Truong Thi Hoai Trinh born in 2007 (Hanoi Sports Training Center). These two players will continue to stay in Uzbekistan to practice with their teammates and observe, accumulating experience for the next tournaments.
The Vietnam U20 women's team will play the opening match of the tournament at 6:00 p.m. on March 4 against Japan, at JAR Stadium (Vietnam time). Viewers can watch the matches live onFPT Play television.
