Applying digital skills in startups and careers

(DN) - On October 4, the Department of Science and Technology coordinated with the University of Forestry, Dong Nai branch, to organize a conference to connect the innovative startup ecosystem with the theme: Applying digital skills in startups and entrepreneurship.

During the program, students of the Forestry University branch in Dong Nai listened to experts share on the following topics: Business needs for digital skills; student skills in the 4.0 industrial revolution; competency framework for students in the context of digital transformation; bridging innovation and local startups between the State - businesses - schools and the community; implementing an online presence program with the national domain name ".vn".

Speaking at the program, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology Vo Hoang Khai said: The conference aims to create a forum to connect state management agencies, experts, businesses, and students to promote the innovative startup ecosystem in Dong Nai province. At the same time, strengthen coordination between state management agencies and higher education institutions in building and developing an innovative startup ecosystem; support students to access knowledge and skills on innovative startups; create conditions to connect with experts and businesses to form practical startup thinking. The Department and state management agencies will always accompany and support students' ideas to become practical startup projects, contributing to building a dynamic, creative and sustainable Dong Nai.

At the conference, the Department of Science and Technology and the Forestry University branch in Dong Nai signed a cooperation agreement to develop an innovative startup ecosystem; the school also signed a cooperation program with the Dong Nai Provincial Innovation Startup Advisory Council and the Long Thanh Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

On this occasion, Vietnam Internet Center, PA Vietnam Co., Ltd. awarded 3,000 ".vn" domain names under the online presence program with the national domain name ".vn" in Dong Nai province. This is a program to promote and support people, businesses, business households, students and pupils to have a reliable and safe online presence with digital services using the national domain name ".vn" to promote digital skills, create conditions for accessing and effectively exploiting digital tools, contributing to promoting the province's comprehensive digital transformation.
