Awarding Certificates of Merit from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society to 3 groups with outstanding contributions to humanitarian activities

In particular, the Provincial Red Cross Society has advised the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee to pay attention to and direct the arrangement and assignment of jobs for the district Red Cross Society's officials and employees to work in the communes after the district-level administrative unit was not organized.

Lam Dong Provincial Red Cross Society has coordinated with Binh Thuan and Dak Nong Provincial Red Cross Societies to develop a Project to reorganize and consolidate the Lam Dong Provincial Red Cross Society (new) based on the merger of Lam Dong, Binh Thuan and Dak Nong Provincial Red Cross Societies. Report on providing information to serve the project to reorganize, streamline and consolidate the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio- political organizations, and mass organizations assigned by the Party and the State.

Ms. Do Thi Que Phuong - Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province awarded Certificates of Merit from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society to outstanding individuals.

Develop a plan to organize the 2025 Provincial Red Cross Society's Advanced Model Conference, towards the 6th National Patriotic Emulation Congress of the Vietnam Red Cross Society in 2025 and request the Provincial People's Committee's approval to organize the 2025 Provincial Red Cross Society's Advanced Model Conference.

Implementing the Tet Charity movement for the Year of the Snake in 2025, the results of the Association at all levels in the province have mobilized 71,060 gifts worth 35 billion VND to support poor families, those in difficult circumstances, victims of Agent Orange, and people with disabilities to have the opportunity to celebrate the New Year; helping 450 people in difficult circumstances with a total value of 720 million VND.

Ms. Le Thi Theu - Deputy Director of Lam Dong Provincial Department of Home Affairs awarded the Medal for Humanitarian Cause to individuals.

Mobilized resources to build 19 Red Cross houses for poor and disadvantaged households, totaling VND1.3 billion; repaired 9 houses, worth VND120 million. Coordinated with sponsors to build 1 clean water well in Di Linh district, worth VND50 million; supported 20 solar lights in Dam Rong district, worth VND152 million.

The Association at all levels has received 182 charity groups from inside and outside the province to come to localities to give gifts to 33,143 poor and disadvantaged people; supported poor families with sick, accident, ill, funeral, and emergency cases for 9,508 people. Awarded 406 scholarships, 1,891 gifts, books, and school supplies to poor students who overcame difficulties to study well; mobilized to give 115 health insurance cards to the poor, poor students, and those in difficult circumstances; maintained assistance and support at over 1,000 humanitarian addresses...

In the first 6 months of 2025, the whole province organized 32 voluntary blood donation campaigns, receiving 7,080 units of blood, ensuring blood supply for emergency and medical treatment for the health sector.

Comrade Nguyen Van Son - Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command awarded the Medal for the Cause of Construction and Development of Lam Dong Province to individuals of the Provincial Red Cross Society.

The conference listened to presentations and discussed important contents in the activities of the Association and the Red Cross movement in the last 6 months of 2025. Information on continuing to coordinate with the Red Cross Associations of Binh Thuan and Dak Nong provinces to develop a project to arrange and streamline the organization of the Red Cross Associations at all levels. Continue to promote the implementation and development of humanitarian activity models contributing to the Movement of skillful mass mobilization in building new rural areas. Actively mobilize resources to carry out humanitarian and charitable activities, support projects and livelihood models for the poor.

Mobilize medical teams to provide free medical examinations and medicine to the poor in remote communes of the province. Organize the 13th Red Journey program with the theme of Red Drops of the Flower City combined with honoring typical blood donors at the provincial level in Da Lat city; the 2025 Summer Red Blood Drops Campaign; effectively promote, mobilize, and organize Voluntary Blood Donation Festivals and Fixed Blood Donation Points to ensure blood supply for the health sector to meet and exceed the set targets.

Awarding Certificates of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee to 2 individuals with outstanding achievements in work

On this occasion, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society awarded Certificates of Merit to 3 groups and 4 individuals who have made outstanding contributions to humanitarian activities; and awarded the Medal for Humanitarian Cause to 41 individuals in Lam Dong province.

At the same time, the Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee awarded the Medal for the Cause of Construction and Development of Lam Dong Province to 5 individuals; awarded the Title of Excellent Labor Collective to 4 collectives and Certificates of Merit to 2 individuals with outstanding achievements in work from 2023 - 2024.
