Operating a chatbot to answer questions about E10 gasoline.

A chatbot answering questions about E10 gasoline has been launched, allowing users to quickly look up information related to this type of biofuel.

From June 1st, 2026, E10 bioethanol will officially be put into use nationwide according to the roadmap stipulated in Circular No. 50/2025/TT-BCT dated November 7th, 2025 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade . This is a new type of fuel being widely applied for the first time, and is therefore receiving significant attention from the public and businesses.

To help people access accurate and timely information about this type of fuel, the Industry and Trade Newspaper has developed and launched a chatbot for answering questions about E10 gasoline on the Ministry of Industry and Trade's electronic portal and the newspaper's website.

The chatbot automatically appears on the Ministry of Industry and Trade's electronic portal, answering frequently asked questions from the public.

The chatbot was developed based on a database of hundreds of compiled and reviewed questions and answers, focusing on topics of common interest to the public, such as which vehicles can use E10 gasoline, how to use it, fuel consumption, engine compatibility, fuel storage tips, and the transition to E10.

When a user enters a question, the system searches the database and provides the most relevant answer. Simultaneously, the chatbot suggests additional related questions to encourage further research and ensure users receive quick and accurate information.

One of the system's distinguishing features is that it only responds based on pre-written and vetted content. For questions not already in the database, the chatbot will not generate content automatically but will record it for review and supplementation. This approach aims to ensure that the information provided is always accurate and minimizes the risk of inaccuracies.

According to many experts, when implemented nationwide, E10 will help reduce approximately 2.5 million tons of CO₂ equivalent annually, directly contributing to the carbon neutrality commitment by 2050 announced by the Prime Minister at COP26.
