The highlight of the second day of competition, phase 2 of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship, is the match between the Information Corps and Ninh Binh. Both teams are candidates for the championship this season.

Ninh Binh did not have the service of Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen , the player registered by the Coaching Board in the position of... caretaker. Without the main hitter, the home team faced many difficulties against the high-performing Signal Corps.

The army team played very proactively in this match. Kieu Trinh and foreign player Voronkova had a shining day, in which the 2000-born setter scored the most points with 23 points, contributing greatly to helping the Signal Corps win 3-1 (25/19, 15/25, 25/15, 25/14).

With 4 wins and 12 points, the Information Corps became the last team to qualify for the semi-finals of the National Volleyball Championship. Meanwhile, this was Ninh Binh’s first loss in this year’s tournament, but the team from the ancient capital of Hoa Lu still qualified for the semi-finals.

Thus, the 4 teams participating in the women's semi-finals include: VTV Binh Dien Long An , Ninh Binh, VietinBank and Information Corps.

The 2025 National Volleyball Championship will conclude on October 16 with the ranking matches and championship determination.
