DOJI listed the price of 9999 gold today at 79.40 million VND/tael for buying and 80.55 million VND/tael for selling. Compared to yesterday, the price of gold rings increased by 100,000 VND/tael for buying and 150,000 VND/tael for selling.
At Mi Hong Jewelry Company, the price of Mi Hong gold at the time of survey was listed at 81.2-82 million VND/tael (buy - sell). An increase of 200,000 VND/tael in the buying direction compared to yesterday.
SJC gold price at Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited is also traded by businesses at 80-82 million VND/tael (buy - sell). Meanwhile, at Bao Tin Manh Hai, it is being traded at 80.1-82 million VND/tael (buy - sell), a slight increase of 100,000 VND/tael in both buying and selling compared to yesterday.

World gold price today September 22, 2024 and world gold price fluctuation chart in the past 24 hours
According to Kitco, the world gold price recorded at 5:00 a.m. today, Vietnam time, was 2,621.13 USD/Ounce. Today's gold price increased by 7.21 USD/Ounce compared to yesterday's gold price. Converted according to the USD exchange rate, on the free market (25,065 VND/USD), the world gold price is about 80.08 million VND/tael (excluding taxes and fees). Thus, the price of SJC gold bars is 1.91 million VND/tael higher than the international gold price.
Over the past year, gold buyers and holders have made a profit of up to 665 USD/ounce, equivalent to about 19.8 million VND for each tael of gold.
Alex Ebkarian, CEO of Allegiance Gold, said the gold market could rally due to the possibility of further US interest rate cuts due to budget and trade deficits, weakening the USD.
Jerry Prior, head of KMLM, said that despite Mr. Powell's comments, gold prices are not expected to rise sharply in the near future but will still grow steadily.
Julia Khandoshko from Mind Money predicts gold prices will strengthen before possibly reaching $3,000 an ounce, but is not certain this will happen this year.
Razaqzada said that although the gold market may encounter some early profit-taking, he remains optimistic about gold prices in the long term, even though it may not reach $3,000 an ounce this year.
