Black market tickets for the 2024 AFF Cup final are being sold at unbelievably high prices.

All tickets for the 2024 AFF Cup final sold out online within 30 minutes of going on sale again. Previously, the online ticketing portal experienced issues due to overload shortly after sales opened at the scheduled time of 8:00 AM. The online ticket distribution channel only reopened around 11:30 AM.

"With the excitement surrounding the first leg of the ASEAN Cup 2024 final, OneU recorded tens of millions of visits before ticket sales even opened. Due to the limited capacity of Viet Tri Stadium, online tickets sold out completely within just 30 minutes of going on sale again," said the ticket distribution partner of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF).

A post was advertising tickets for sale at 3.5 times the original price.

Unlike the semi-final, all tickets for the first leg of the 2024 AFF Cup final were sold online. The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and the local match organizers did not sell tickets directly.

Immediately after the announcement that tickets were sold out, the "black market" became active. In online football ticket buying and selling groups on social media, announcements appeared from people searching for large quantities of tickets at high prices.

Some accounts are selling tickets originally priced at 500,000 VND for 2.5 million VND per pair, which is 2.5 times the original price. Tickets with a face value of 1 million VND are being resold at 3.5 times their original price (7 million VND per pair). Even more unbelievable are people selling VIP tickets (invitation tickets) at exorbitant prices of 30-40 million VND per pair.

The first leg of the 2024 AFF Cup final will take place at 8 PM on January 2nd at Viet Tri Stadium ( Phu Tho province ). This is the first time this venue has hosted the final of a regional tournament. The Vietnamese national team and youth teams have never lost when playing at Viet Tri Stadium.
