Many interesting destinations
U Minh Ha is a relatively unspoiled area, so most tourists visit U Minh for sightseeing, recreation, and food. There aren't many accommodation options like guesthouses or hotels in the area. If you want to stay overnight, you can visit the Muoi Ngọt Ecotourism Site in Khanh Binh Tay Bac commune, Tran Van Thoi district; or the Huong Tram - U Minh Ecotourism Site in Khanh An commune, U Minh district…
From Ca Mau City, head towards Da Bac to Kenh Ngang Bridge (Khanh Binh Tay commune), then turn right onto Route 21 for about 9 km towards Khanh Binh Tay Bac commune to reach Muoi Ngot Tourist Area (approximately 50 km). A wonderful experience during a forest tour here is collecting wild honey. To reach the beehives, visitors must travel by small boat deep into the pristine melaleuca forest, following a trail overgrown with grass and reeds. The beehives here vary in size, some nearly 3 meters long and almost 1 meter wide, containing over a dozen liters of honey. Visitors can rest assured during the honey-collecting experience as they are provided with safety nets.
The beehive at Muoi Ngọt Tourist Site was recognized by the Vietnam Record Organization as the largest beehive in Vietnam during the "U Minh Forest Fragrance" 2022 event series.

Huong Tram Tourist Area is located amidst the vast U Minh Ha forest, following an eco-tourism model covering an area of 27 hectares, including 20 hectares of melaleuca forest over 7 years old. Huong Tram Tourist Area is located more than 20 km from Ca Mau City towards U Minh district. The fastest way to get there is by car. From the meeting point on the T27 canal in Khanh An commune (U Minh), visitors can experience a leisurely ride in composite boats deep into the melaleuca forest for about 2 km. Currently, Huong Tram has a homestay area with a row of pavilions built on a 4,000 m² pond. Besides serving food in the stilt houses, the pond also hosts attractive folk games such as cycling, water slides, suspension bridges, and rowing traditional boats. There are also fishing tours and opportunities to observe wild flora and fauna, making it an ideal spot for taking photos.
A specialty of the Huong Tram tourist destination is U Minh fish sauce hotpot. This hotpot was also recognized by the Vietnam Record Organization as the largest fish sauce hotpot in Vietnam during the "U Minh Forest Flavors" 2022 event. In addition, the area offers other dishes such as: steamed fish sauce, bee larvae, grilled snakehead fish, eel stewed with noni leaves, sour fish soup with wild fruit, and wild vegetables...
